Was planning on watching the tennis all afternoon. Martin phoned half-way through Henman's match though saying he was going to Hayling. Henman was playing shit and then he lost so felt miserable about that and needed a sail to forget about it. So off I went to Hayling.

Took a while getting the roofrack off the car and kit into the car. On a rising tide thought again there would be a reasonable chance of some waves at Hayling so stuck the Quatro in the car instead of the Bee. Was pancake flat though when I arrived around 5pm. Martin was out going for vulcans, upwind 360s etc. Looked quite windy but went for the 6.0 again rather than the 5.2.

Even easier conditions than yesterday. Was good at the start for about an hour, plenty windy, going for lots of moves, and some decent jumps off nicely shaped bits of chop. Wind dropped off towards the end though, and I got a bit bored with the flat water, and a bit tired as well, dropping most of my moves, so the session finished in a slightly disappointing way. Plus I drifted at the end leaving me with a 5 minute walk of shame back to the car. At least the sun came out at the end though.
